Mo'o Huelo: Tale of a Tail

'O Mo'o Huelo ke ka'ao e pili ana i ka 'opio. Makemake 'o ia e kokua i kekahi kanaka me'e, kapa 'ia 'o Geckoman. I kona kokua ia Geckoman, 'imi a loa'a keia keiki kane i kona mana me'e pono'i. Ma ka huaka'i, 'ike 'o ia i na hame'e like 'ole: na 'Ua'u i hiki ke 'olelo, ka Nananana Makaki'i nuha, a me na 'uhini 'ulala. He me'e 'o Geckoman mai na puke ho'omake'ake'a Hawai'i: 'o Mana Comics.

  • This was such a great opportunity to have my keiki learn Hawaiian while performing. Definitely a lot of commitment, but worth it.

  • ...I absolutely love the fact that this play was spoken in Hawaiian language! Maybe some people knew what the actors were saying, but the people who didn't had to figure it out by watching, which could have taught them some of our native language.
